MIXED MEDIA ILLUSTRATION THAT IS BROODING & ATMOSPHERIC!
Welcome to the darker side of my work. A total contrast to my commercial illustrations, my mixed media art is heavily influenced by fine art and surrealism. I love to create fantastic dream-scapes, often with nightmarish qualities and characters. Themes I have tended to use have been construction, machinery, masquerade, inner-strength and isolation. Even though my settings are often wildly imaginative, there is always a touching human element within each series. My best known, being my 5 piece' Rise of the Glass City: A New Age of Industry' series. I am constantly amazed by life experiences, and these are a glimpse into my imagination, that I think that if you look deep inside, you will also be able to connect with.
