From Greater Manchester in England, I am an Illustrator and Mixed Media Fine Artist. Social & creative, I enjoy the vibrant city life & find it inspirational! My work has been described as surreal & imaginative, and has been noted not to follow one set path or theme. Being a relative newcomer to the world of commercial art and exhibiting, I feel privileged to be an artist & be able to convey emotion & experience in a visual way that people can relate to. It is an honour that groups of art lovers have embraced my work with such warmth. Dreamy & surreal, my work blends painting, illustration, digital media & drawing, photography & hand drawing. My style has gained something of an international profile due to commissions, art sold & is recognised in various countries outside of the UK. My mixed media fine art has been included in group & solo exhibitions at Cube Gallery, Stockport Art Gallery & Merseyway Shopping Centre. My illustrations have been used for commercial marketing campaigns &are part of a top agency. Since June 2011, I have been selected to be an Ovenden Contemporary artist. Inspirations are my love for mask making, the human psyche, music, duality & fairy-tales. Machinery is of passionate interest to me due to it's industrial beauty, shape, strength and vulnerability. I embrace machinery in a lot of my work to convey all kinds of emotions and atmosphere. I like to think that my work echoes life, it is fun, refuses to be tied down & constantly evolving in unexpected ways. It may appear fantastical in some instances, but look a little deeper and I hope you will see that it is grounded in depth and complexity. My website will be updated with new work as I make it.
